Magnetism of matters, otherwise known as magnetism of materials, refers to the magnetism which merely relate to composition and microstructure but not with shape and dimension of matters. Magnetism of matters is generally measured by Br, Hcb, Hcj, (BH)max. Magnetism of objects refers to the magnetism under the common effect of magnetism of matters, shape and dimension of objects. Magnetism of objects are commonly characterized by magnetic flux density, magnetic moment, and pull force. Magnetism of objects is more suitable for sampling inspection in comparison with demagnetization curve. More importantly, for permanent magnets with straight line B-H curve and regular shape, magnetism of objects can be approximately calculated by related formulas. Our magnet calculator is exactly built based on these formulas.
