    Alnico is the first modern permanent magnet, and also a rare-earth-free permanent magnetic material with high remanent magnetism, high Curie temperature and working temperature, low temperature coefficient, good mechanical properties and corrosion resistance, but its coercivity is low, so it is easy to be magnetized and demagnetized. Alnico according to the preparation process is divided into casting Alnico and sintered Alnico, casting process can be processed into a variety of sizes and shapes, sintered products are limited to small sizes, magnetic properties are slightly lower than the casting products, but the dimensional accuracy, machinability is good. Alnico is widely used in automotive parts, instrumentation, electro-acoustics, motors, nuclear power, aerospace and other fields.
